Job Spec

This role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of an enterprise-wide, bordereaux-management tool to support improved traceability, quality, and reporting of bordereaux data and processes. The Senior IT Delivery Manager will manage all aspects of the third-party vendor relationship and be responsible for ensuring the solution meets business needs and is delivered on time and to budget.


Responsibilities

·        Responsible for service delivery of IT releases in coordination with vendor partners

·        Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an IT architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology

·        Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation

·        Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges, as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options—which may include RFIs, RFPs, or prototype development—selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution

·        Under guidance of the Chief Technology Officer, communicates the architecture to stakeholders and coordinates with various implementation vendors

·        Directly assists in development of solutions architecture program, including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture

·        Directs identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options, incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership

·        Provides analysis of security protection technologies, as necessary


Skills and Experience

·        Knowledge and experience in DXC platforms such as XFI, GXB, Open Box, Open Co or other prevalent policy administration and claims management platforms

·        Previous experience in directly working with DXC to manage IT change

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to adapt styles to different audiences

·        Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships with, and influence people at all levels of the organisation

·        Ability to articulate complex information, recommendations and solutions in a simple and logical manner

·        Previous experience of leading large-scale insurance transformation programmes and projects that directly support business strategy
