About Us:Strictly FX is a leading special effects company known for creating stunning visual displays for concerts, television, and live events. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team and ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with a strong background in AP and general accounting. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related role, with a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices. Attention to detail is a key skill in this position, as ensuring accuracy in financial transactions is crucial. This is not a remote position; the selected candidate will be required to work on-site at our office in Nashville.Key Responsibilities:• Manage and oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing for vendors and suppliers.• Review, verify, and process invoices, ensuring they comply with company policies and are coded correctly.• Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve billing issues and payment discrepancies.• Assist with month-end closing processes, including accruals, journal entries, and reporting.• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation for audit purposes.• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.• Monitor vendor statements and ensure all outstanding invoices are paid on time.• Manage the issuance of checks, wire transfers, and electronic payments.• Assist with the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable.Qualifications:Education and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; OR 2-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.Skills:• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Strong interpersonal skills for vendor and internal team interactions.• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, essential for accurate invoice processing and record-keeping.• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and insights.What We Offer:• 401(k) retirement plan.• Dental insurance.• Employee assistance program.• Health insurance.• Life insurance coverage.• Paid time off.• Vision insurance.Thank you for considering a career opportunity with Strictly FX.
