You enjoy creative problem-solving; we're often called upon to solve complex problems, and there's not always one single way to solve a problem. Your versatility and flexibility is key: thinking through solutions to make things that are hard for us intuitive and easy for our customers.

You're also self-motivated and independent; we're a close-knit team and bounce ideas off each other daily, but each of us is responsible for supporting different product teams with minimal supervision. You are detailed oriented and understand details matter in copy decks that you build and manage. And you also welcome feedback from stakeholders and peers (and are able to offer it back in return).

What You'll Do

As a content designer, your day-to-day will vary, but you'll do a lot of design thinking, UI copy writing, user testing and refining our UX content standards. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams, and you'll participate in regular writing and design critiques. The words you write and the designs you influence will be seen and used by millions of our customers.

Requirements

Top 3 Requirements:

  • Must have the following combination of experience: Content design/content strategy/UX writer experience (experience working on digital products at enterprise level companies)
  • Responsive web experience (digital tools)
  • Basic knowledge of Figma

Plusses:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Enterprise company experience

Day to Day/Project:

Working on the centralized design team within a large organization that owns customer facing websites and applications. Doing content and ux design for their customer facing apps and websites specific.

Looking for a candidate that: isn't just a copywriter, wants someone who can do more than just write words for screens and flows, they should think like a UX Designer, do some UX strategy & discovery, be thinking about information architecture, produce information architecture, IA diagram, not just utilizing a CMS and putting together a CMS, more about content strategy, thinking about textonym at a systems level, think more broadly across the strategy, build relationships to get questions answered about IA, textonym, guidelines, strategy, can work cross functionality, working with a style guide, but also working with marketing team, .com team, reduce overlapping messaging, looking for more consistency, understanding the purpose of the page, understand the purpose of the flow, draft that out in words before wireframing in Figma
