Postdoctoral Position in Neurodevelopmental Research

The Society for Neuroscience is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Vermont. As a postdoctoral associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a large-scale longitudinal study of early brain and child development, the HEALthy Brain and Child Development study.

Research Opportunities:

  • Conduct analyses on a rich and diverse dataset of over 7,200 families
  • Develop and implement machine learning methodologies to investigate neurodevelopmental processes
  • Collaborate with a vibrant neuroimaging research community
  • Participate in activities of the Vermont Complex Systems Center

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in psychology, neuroscience, bioinformatics, or a related field
  • Record of research in neuroimaging
  • Programming experience in MATLAB, Python, or R
