Salary range 008: $140,700 - $175,900 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position).What's involved in this role: We are looking for a Director Key Accounts in Eden Prairie, MN, Le Sueur, MN or Appleton, WI. The Director, Key Accounts is responsible for leading strategic account management and driving growth across Agropur's cheese product portfolio. This role collaborates closely with the Vice President of Cheese Sales, Sales Directors, and Marketing teams to develop and execute customer-focused strategies that align with corporate objectives. The Director builds and maintains long-term relationships with key customers, identifies new business opportunities, and ensures exceptional service delivery and account performance.Partner with the Vice President of Cheese Sales to develop and implement strategic sales plans that support corporate growth objectives. Monitor industry trends and competitive activity, proactively adjusting strategies to maintain Agropur's market leadership. Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategies to maximize long-term market share and profitability. Align sales, marketing, and production goals with broader corporate strategies. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, ensuring exceptional service and long-term relationship development. Maintain and grow existing customer relationships while identifying tools and approaches to enhance customer experience and drive growth. Identify, analyze, and manage a prospecting strategy to acquire new key accounts in existing or emerging channels. Ensure customer programs and interactions reflect Agropur's mission and core values. Lead annual planning for sales revenue, margin, and profitability across assigned accounts. Collaborate with manufacturing sites to manage forecasting and production scheduling, ensuring alignment with customer demand. Evaluate market research and adjust strategies to respond to evolving market conditions.What you need to join our team: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field required. Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales and marketing experience, preferably in food manufacturing or distribution. Experience managing national accounts and delivering on revenue and margin targets. Strong background in the dairy or cheese industry preferred. Sales and/or training experience within food manufacturing or food distribution preferred, with an emphasis within the dairy/cheese industry. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers. Demonstrated record of successfully managing national accounts at the regional and/or corporate level. Demonstrated ability to manage all revenue, margin and profitability targets.Agropur welcomes people from all backgrounds and origins.
