Position Overview:
Velie Global Law Firm is seeking a dedicated Commercial Attorney to join our Plano, Texas office. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate, healthcare, commercial collections, litigation, mergers, and contract drafting and negotiation. This role requires a proactive individual who excels in strategy sessions, deal negotiations, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct strategy sessions with potential and existing clients regarding real estate, healthcare, and commercial collection matters, as well as litigation, mergers, and contract drafting and negotiating.
- Negotiate and close deals with potential clients.
- Learn about our company and methods to accurately convey our brand promises and lead clients to retain our services.
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients.
- Handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed by any state bar in the US.
- 2+ years of experience in Business Immigration Law.
- No bar complaints.
- Strong legal drafting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
