Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the legal dimensions of the firm's litigation practice.
- Manage a portfolio of 50-75 active litigation cases, emphasizing pretrial, trial, and appellate practices with a focus on strategic oversight, client communication, document management, risk evaluation, and settlement discussions.
- Act as lead counsel throughout various litigation phases, including pre-litigation, pleadings, discovery, trial preparation, trial attendance, post-trial, and appeals.
- Assist operational staff in executing procedural modifications and provide necessary approvals.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on the firm's evolving needs and your professional development.
Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law institution.
- Licensed to practice law in Texas.
- 3-5 years of experience as lead counsel representing financial institutions in contested litigation.
- Preferred Attributes:
- Admission to practice in all four Texas federal districts.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities.
- Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar platforms.
- Experience managing contested default cases and banking litigation relevant to the jurisdiction.
Work Environment:
- Location and Schedule:
- This hybrid role requires onsite presence 2-3 days per week following a training period and management approval.
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $90,000 to $125,000 annually.

- Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, talk, or hear.
