Job DescriptionThe Senior Electrical Engineer will support the design, layout, construction, and evaluation of prototype Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), tools, and fixtures for development and testing within a regulated environment. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting, documentation, and ensuring compliance with FDA and company procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesLayout, construct, and evaluate a variety of prototype tools, fixtures, and PCBs for product development.Conduct feasibility studies, functional tests, and engineering analyses.Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation on breadboards and hybrid circuits.Execute and document design verification plans; record test data and generate engineering test reports.Create and maintain specifications, schematics, and mechanical layouts for tools to ensure document control and release compliance.Ensure adherence to FDA regulations, company policies, and quality system requirements.Maintain effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, management, vendors, and customers.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required).Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant engineering experience.Proven ability to develop and integrate new design features into existing systems.Demonstrated history of delivering engineering insights that support management decision-making.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access) and specialized engineering applications.Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and manufacturing processes (medical device experience strongly preferred).Experience working within a highly matrixed and geographically diverse organization.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organization and multitasking ability.Must be able to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsProfessional certification or advanced credential in a relevant discipline.Experience in medical device manufacturing environments.Familiarity with cross-divisional enterprise operations.
