The team’s vision is to mitigate gigatons of CO2 emissions per year by deploying its innovative thermal battery at every industrial furnace, turbine, boiler, and kiln.

About the Role

As a Lead Electrical Design Engineer, you will lead the design of the power electrical system for the first-of-a-kind demonstration of the company’s thermal battery and subsequent products. You will play a key role in ensuring the electrical system and associated controls can meet cost, timeline, and requirements. You will report directly to the VP of Engineering.

  • At least 3 years of experience developing, testing, and evaluating large medium voltage (10+kV) electrical power systems (switch gears, medium voltage drives, etc.)
  • At least 2 years of experience creating electrical diagrams (wiring, SLD, three-line diagram).
  • Experience designing and developing power electronic equipment and their associated controls from scratch is a plus.
  • Experience devising creative design solutions without losing focus on the defined scope and timeline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with using tools like Python to automate modeling scenarios is a plus.
  • PE license in electrical engineering is a plus.
