Technical Operations Manager

The Opportunity:

As a Technical Operations Manager, you know that good software is more than just a nice-looking interface and data. You need the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user-focused solution. We‘re looking for a Technical Operations Manager like you to develop efficient and effective software, from vision to production-ready system, in an exciting, Agile environment.

As a Technical Support Engineer at Booz Allen, you‘ll utilize monitoring tools, such as LightsOn, Tachyon, or Splunk to identify end user device, networking, and system issues for resolution. Using your software engineering expertise, you‘ll guide the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues across multiple departments. You‘ll be responsible for technical analysis and oversight across all systems engineering aspects of the system to a Commercial of the Shelf (COTs) product line, including technical requirements development, network and system environment set-up, test, change management, release and deployment, support, and sustainment. You‘ll support day-to-day remote technical aspects of product operational data to identify diagnostic issues in enough detail to determine if the root cause is hardware or software related. Sharpen your skills as you master new tools and techniques while helping to identify and implement system improvements.

Work with us as we develop systems to create change for the better.

Join us. The world can‘t wait.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications using Agile methods

  • Experience with leading a team of engineers

  • Experience with monitoring, identifying and addressing technical risks, gaps and opportunities affecting the solution architecture to satisfy requirements throughout the lifecycle

  • Experience with creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team

  • Experience with designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software in a healthcare and clinical environment

  • Ability to perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor‘s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or Engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with supporting a Federal client

  • Experience with implementing electronic health records

Vetting:

Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.
