Eagle Tech Consultants is Looking for a Manufacturing Process engineer to start right away. The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, improving, and managing efficient manufacturing processes in a high-volume production setting. This role requires strong technical skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing principles, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Design and Development:
- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows.
- Develop new manufacturing processes and update existing ones to improve efficiency and quality.
- Design and modify tools, fixtures, and equipment to improve production capabilities.

- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas of inefficiency or waste in production and implement improvements.
- Lead or participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as Kaizen events, 5S, Six Sigma projects, etc.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
- Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all products meet required specifications and standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control systems to monitor product quality and process stability.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any quality issues.
- Project Management:
- Lead or assist in the planning, implementation, and tracking of manufacturing projects.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., design, procurement, and maintenance) to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
- Develop and manage budgets for manufacturing projects.
- Cost Reduction:
- Identify opportunities to reduce production costs without sacrificing quality or efficiency.
- Implement cost-saving measures such as reducing material usage, optimizing labor, and improving machine efficiency.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety improvements.
- Stay updated on relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to the production team to resolve any manufacturing issues.
- Train production staff on new processes, equipment, and best practices.
- Support maintenance teams with technical expertise for machinery and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in technical drawing and understanding of manufacturing blueprints.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of quality control principles and safety standards.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or related fields.
