LHH Recruitment is partnering with a great Non-Profit organization based in Portland, OR to immediately hire a Benefits Administrator.


Position: Benefits Administrator

Location: Hybrid based in Portland, OR

Job Type: M-F, full time, normal business hours

Duration: 6-8 month contract

Pay: $30-$38 per hour DOE



Responsibilities:

  • Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
  • Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment systems.
  • Maintain employee benefits records and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in HRIS.
  • Assist employees with health, dental, life and other related benefit claims.
  • Ensure the benefits programs comply with federal and state regulations.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve any issues related to the benefits plan.
  • Participate in the negotiation of benefits plans and contracts.
  • Prepare and maintain bi-weekly employee benefits reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in benefits administration.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of HR experience, ideally with a good amount of time working on benefits.
  • Experience working with union employees is not required but a big plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in the Non-Profit industry is a big plus.
