Exciting Opportunity for a LPN Float Nurse (LPN/or RN)
We are currently seeking a dedicated LPN Float Nurse who will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our community under the guidance of our esteemed Regional Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing (DON), and Executive Director (ED).
- Assist in supervising health care services within the residence
- Stay within the community premises during shifts
- Notify superiors in case of emergencies
- Support residents by following medication protocols
- Provide valuable insights to families and staff in the absence of DON and ED
Requirements:
Education - Graduation from a state-accredited Nursing school, with an active LPN or RN license. Current CPR Certification is essential. Experience working with the elderly preferred.
Language Skills - Ability to interpret documents, write reports, and communicate effectively.
Compliance - Must adhere to all policies set by the Morning Pointe Community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medication: Handle resident medications according to regulations and Morning Pointe's policies
- Residents: Manage resident healthcare needs, observe condition changes, and respond to emergencies effectively
- Supervision: Coordinate health care needs and provide supervision to Resident Services Assistants and Certified Nursing Assistants
Physical Requirements:
This role involves heavy lifting, standing, walking, and various physical demands. It requires excellent visual and hearing acuity, along with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
