Summary: The Tebow Group is looking for a mission-driven senior accountant whose main role will be ensuring the success and oversight of all accounting using QuickBooks.  We are seeking a motivated individual with 5+ years of experience in an accounting role.  The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, highly organized, self-starting, and flexible in a fast-paced environment. 


*This role is based in Jacksonville, FL and remote employees will not be considered.* 


Reporting Relationship: This position will report to the Managing Director of Finance at The Tebow Group.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with multi-state and federal tax preparation
  • Payroll, 401K, and HSA Administration
  • Develop and implement accounting procedures
  • Audit the accounting files regularly
  • Maintain the General Ledger
  • Maintain Fixed Assets
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP standards
  • Maintain all state and federal taxation accounts for employment and income taxes including making payments, regulatory filings, and reporting
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Facilitate Tax filing for all entities


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • CPA License Required or CPA Candidate
  • Familiarity with family office accounting is a bonus 
  • 5+ years of QuickBooks experience
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in financial software, specifically QuickBooks Online and Desktop
  • Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor preferred
  • Google Workspace and Slack experience preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Effective communication
  • Problem-solving capabilities
  • Thorough understanding of relevant regulations
  • Exemplary organizational and time management skills, ability to track and monitor multiple projects
