Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant

Job Summary:

Think Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing Federal and State income tax returns, as well as state and local franchise tax returns. You will also be involved in tax planning, research, and communication of potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tax returns, including multi-state preparation
  • Prepare tax projections and related tax estimates
  • Prepare apportionment schedules, local tax returns, and miscellaneous returns
  • Maintain automated tax calendar
  • Assist in preparation of Federal S Corporation and Partnership returns
  • Prepare Annual reports and registrations
  • Respond to IRS and State Tax Notices
  • Assist in federal and state tax audits
  • Be involved in tax planning

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills in a hands-on tax department
  • Extensive spreadsheet (Excel) and word processing skills
  • Knowledge of tax software programs (CCH Axcess and NetSuite G/L)
  • Research capabilities using internet and printed library
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to assist in non-tax areas
