Litigation Paralegal

A boutique law firm based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an experienced a Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive base salary, performance-based bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, along with a flexible hybrid work schedule.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury litigation from inception through trial.
  • Conduct client interviews and maintain regular client communication.
  • Gather and review medical records, police reports, and other relevant documentation.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Coordinate and manage case calendars, including court dates, deadlines, and appointments.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
  • Liaise with medical professionals, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
  • Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurately filed.
  • Support attorneys during depositions, mediations, and court proceedings as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience handling personal injury cases on either the plaintiff or defense side.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution.
  • Strong understanding of personal injury and litigation processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficient in legal research and legal document drafting.
  • Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
