Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Engineer at NEWMAN SANITARY GASKET COMPANY. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, managing sales activities, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for helping to develop new and custom products. This includes designing and testing seals, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. The Sales Engineer will also be involved in creating and delivering sales presentations, conducting product demonstrations, and managing customer accounts.

  • Sales Engineering and Sales skills
  • Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles and processes
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide innovative solutions
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to provide technical support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service-oriented
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, or Dairy industries
  • Knowledge of FDA and USP Class VI regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in High Purity Processing a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
