As a Production Manager based at our Denver, CO facility, you will be working in a hands-on manufacturing position that offers a challenging work environment where independence and creative thinking are the norm. This position will be responsible for our fabrication operations reporting to the Plant Manager.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervises daily production activity.
  • Ensures products are manufactured to customer specifications.
  • Ensure finished products meet quality standards.
  • Creates and maintains a safe work environment and culture for all plant personnel. Be a safety ambassador and support development and evolution of the team to an interdependent safety culture.
  • Coordinates production activities to insure efficient utilization of all available resources at any given time.
  • Prioritizes and plans ahead.
  • Creates and maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment for self and plant personnel.
  • Participates in all physical and cycle count inventory requirements, as well as month end physical inventory counts and verifications.
  • Is committed to building a strong team culture that enhances growth opportunities for team members.
  • Provide leadership and delegate duties and responsibilities to the team to assure timely and accurate production of quality products.
  • Must adhere to company’s core values, culture, policies and procedures.
  • Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations and provides necessary resources for production, and for personnel to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Coaches, counsels, and disciplines employees when necessary.
  • Enforces employment policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Lead and support Kaizen events as related to production. / (reinforcing 5S audits as a kaizen practice)
  • Keep track and report daily/weekly KPI’s as required
  • This position serves as a back-up to the Plant Manager.


Requirements

·        5+ years of experience in a manufacturing supervision - Required

·        Associates or bachelor’s degree -highly preferred.

·        Fluency in Spanish highly preferred.

·        Must be capable of learning and comprehending job assignments, possess good memory and recall abilities, troubleshoot problems and independently implement solutions.

·        Capable of operating in a fast pace environment where production changes can and will come regularly.

·        Solid working knowledge of MS Office products including Word and Excel is required. Experience with bar code systems also a plus.

·        Can work independently, keep an organized work space, and pays attention to detail.

·        Is approachable, accepts responsibility, practices confidentiality, and is mutually supportive.

·        Regular attendance and punctuality are required for this position.
