What We're Looking For:

Miniso USA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to join our team and contribute to our ongoing growth. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing staff and ensuring accurate financial reporting for our portfolio of properties.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Active participation in month-end close and create the month-end reporting package.
  • Monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with appropriate accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial statement reporting and analysis, and assist with cash flow analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Assist financial BP in furnishing financial data.
  • Responsible for the creation and update of all government taxes and fees filing and payment schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and SOX based on audit findings.
  • Keep the tax filing schedule updated and make sure all tax filings are accurate and timely including, but not limited to, sales tax, property tax, income tax, franchise tax etc.
  • Making sure all G/L bookings are accurate.
  • Manage organizational cash flow forecasting.
  • Propose new processes and procedures and identify opportunities for operational improvements and keep all SOPs current.
  • Lead or assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Supervise direct reports, providing necessary training and guidance.
  • Collaborate with different departments on ad-hoc analysis related to operations when needed.


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on tax-related functions.
  • CPA certification or progress towards CPA is highly preferred.
  • Strong month end closing and consolidation experience.
  • Experience in SAP Hana a plus.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently, and take ownership as the go-to accounting professional in the company.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of ethics and integrity.
  • Willingness to develop and grow with the company and take on more responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be a team player and able to work with a variety of personalities.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work across multiple divisions.
  • Takes initiative and leads projects.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, including analytical and information system skills.
  • Strong work ethic and follow-through.
  • Consumer products experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work assignments, and work well under pressure.
  • Must be accurate, highly organized, and attentive to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated initiative.
  • Bilingual language proficiency in English and Mandarin are highly preferred.
