Catering & Events

C&E are one of the core operations within Roaming Hunger. So what do we do? We connect clients with food vendors. This could be for parties, big corporate events, lunch services, festivals, and more. Where there are hungry people, we find a solution. 


Our Inside Sales Representatives are the masters of qualifying leads, converting to sales, and building account relationships.


Responsibilities
  • Qualifying leads: Establish the needs and wants of your leads to determine viable clients 
  • Converting inbound leads to sales
  • Communicating client wants, needs, and budget to the project fulfillment team for a seamless execution
  • Converting one-off events to long-term programs
  • Trend-spotting: communicating the identified and creating a game plan for execution with the senior sales team
  • Identifying & tracking opportunities for long-term relationships
  • Identifying opportunities for additional opportunities eg tailored branding 
  • Managing  and prioritizing your pipeline of inbound leads in the region of 70-100  per day
  • Sales administration


Who you are: 
  • An experienced B2C seller
  • 2-4 years of inbound relationship-building/ account management experience
  • A master of relationship building: you know how to connect with people and cultivate relationships quickly
  • An expert communicator: you have phenomenal empathetic listening skills, both written and verbal communication skills, multi-lingual preferred
  • You thrive in a performance environment: you get things done You see targets as a jumping point of where you are going, not a destination. 
  • Event, catering, or food service admin experience is a plus
  • Passionate about food and supporting small businesses
  • Independent with strong self-management skills who balances both team and personal goals
