Accounts Payable Analyst

Position Summary The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, credit card reconciliations, vendor communications, and support of the Accounts Payable team. This role requires attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to support the organization's financial operations. Responsibilities/duties include: Analysts should monitor the inbox for regular invoices and ensure invoices are renamed and saved on time without delay Analysts should monitor the credit card inbox on a regular basis, without exceptions, should be able to process invoices for credit card as they come in In case of discrepancies, analysts should be able to contact the buyer and resolve issues resolved. Whenever required analyst will take the initiative to contact suppliers over email or phone as situation arises and acquire required documents, on time Analysts should be able to download reports and reconcile the credit cards on a weekly basis. Analysts should be able to reconcile and close credit cards before month-end Analysts should be able to answer AP inquiries and get back to the vendor with payment schedule within 24-48 hours. Analysts should be able to download freight carrier invoices, make payments on time, disburse invoices to buyers, follow up with buyers and escalate whenever necessary without allowing invoices to fall between the cracks or get delayed for payment Analysts should also be able to distinguish between invoices owed by Chemico Systems and Chemico LLC. As required analyst should be able to help AP manager with account reconciliation, month-end reconciliation, and any other additional task Job Requirements: High School graduate/diploma. Associate degree preferred. Should be enthusiastic about the job and should not be hesitant in putting in additional work hours during month-end or whenever required.
