We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our sales team in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence within the healthcare sector. The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, fostering strong customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and Implement Sales Strategy:

  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Identify new business opportunities and target markets within the healthcare industry.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and tactics.


Lead and Manage Sales Team:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team capable of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to sales representatives to foster their professional growth and success.
  • This position is a player coach position – we want someone who can lead while also providing an example of what it takes to get the job done
  • Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs to measure sales team effectiveness and individual performance.


Build and Maintain Customer Relationships:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and decision-makers within healthcare organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and provide solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing industry insights and expertise to drive value-added partnerships.


Drive Sales Growth and Performance:

  • Set ambitious sales targets and objectives in alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Maintain and evaluate ongoing areas of improvement with our CRM
  • Develop and implement sales initiatives, promotional campaigns, and incentive programs to accelerate revenue growth.


Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Work closely with senior management to develop long-term sales strategies and plans that support overall business objectives.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior leadership to track progress and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline sales processes, enhance efficiency, and maximize profitability.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare sales, with a proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, with demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including knowledge of market dynamics, regulatory environment, and emerging trends.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth, manage complex sales cycles, and close large deals within the healthcare sector.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
