We are partnering with our client to hire an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and colleagues. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and referring intern applicants to appropriate operating groups company-wide. Demonstrating your skills in interviewing techniques, an excellent understanding of the company's organizational structure, industry knowledge, deep understanding of personnel policy and procedure, as well as federal and state laws regarding employment practices is key.

You will provide leadership to other team members in the department by displaying resourcefulness, self-starting work habits, and creativity in problem solving based on information and discernment. Your ability to negotiate conflict and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of an organization (both inside and outside the company) is critical to success in this role.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the Customer Relationship Manager for assigned projects.
  • Develop and update staffing priorities to focus on for each group.
  • Conduct weekly customer relationship meetings and update recruiting reports.
  • Source and staff open positions.
  • Develop approaches to identify and source talent.
  • Direct recruiting.
  • Participate in career fairs and open houses.
  • Recruit diverse talent to support company's diversified work teams.
  • Work closely with hiring managers in the development of the recruitment and selection plans and establishment of employment offers.
  • Negotiate and handle external resources used for recruiting (agencies, internet service companies, researchers).
  • Conduct reference checks.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of recruiting and/or human resources experience or a combination of higher education and experience.
  • Experience recruiting in the renewables industry, information technology, or supply chain is helpful.
  • High quality professional level work product, a positive attitude and behavior traits, initiative and productivity are expected in this position.
  • Ability to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priority; professionally maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions.
  • Ability to make recommendations on hiring decisions.
  • Organize and prioritize work.
  • Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, ATS/database experience.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, and professional customer service skills.
