A. Basic Function:

Supports both the residential and commercial co-op marketing programs through education, recruiting trade allies (i.e., contractors), campaign development/approval process and tracking co-op expenses.

Support energy efficiency marketing and Cloud activities.


B. Management Responsibility:

C. Major Responsibilities:

  1. Work directly with internal liaisons to recruit participating trade allies into co-op program.
  2. Assist in developing scalable program language and advertising templates for trade ally use.
  3. Arrange monthly communications with trade allies to inform of new program information and marketing assets.
  4. Coordinate the approval process with partner utilities, legal and corporate communications; including the coordination of submitted co-op advertising materials for program reimbursement.
  5. Track residential and commercial trade ally participation, marketing asset adoption and co-op expense tracking including maintenance of advertising contracts, submissions and approvals.
  6. Budget monitoring for Co-op and SG marketing itemized budget
  7. Partner with marketing team and agency to develop residential/commercial campaigns and other trade ally communications and collateral.
  8. Support marketing team by drafting communications, building emails and newsletters, creating templates and maintaining the collateral library (both digital and print) ensuring updated materials are provided to third-party networks.
  9. Support Outreach team with marketing materials and the development of tailored assets and presentations when appropriate to educate on energy-efficiency programs.
  10. Assist in setting brand strategy, execution of advertising, marketing and public relations activities.


D. Position Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication or marketing preferred
  • 1-3 years marketing, corporate communications, agency environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working in CRM platforms – Sales and Marketing Clouds a plus
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign) preferred
