Quality Engineer

Description

  • Collect and analyze quality data, including but not limited to COPQ, Escapes, OTD for CAPA completion, OTD for action item completion and QNs, to understand where the quality issues are occurring.
  • Record clinic parts in the MRB clinic log.
  • Trend data for management review on a weekly basis. Send weekly report.
  • Once per week supply a report to the quality department with the Quality MRO crib log. Send weekly report.


Requirement

  • Proficient in Microsoft office specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and One Note; ability to understand and write VBA would be helpful but not a requirement.
  • Need to have 6months - 1 years of minimum experience
  • Proficient/experience in SAP would be helpful but not a requirement
  • Engineering degree is required, willing to consider with equivalent experience
  • Clear, concise and effective communicator with good interpersonal skills and ability to work with and lead technical groups.
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement principles (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 8D, etc.)
  • Experience in a union environment and interfacing with different levels of management.
