Location: Boston, MA 02116 (Hybrid 3 days per week)

Compensation: $100-140K annual salary (commensurate with education and experience) plus bonus and benefits


Job Overview / Responsibilities

Seeking a Financial Consultant within the litigation support and valuation practices. This work is constantly changing from one case to the next. No day or week is the same.


This person will get their feet wet on understanding the firm’s projects, then after a few months, Consultants will perform more detailed analysis and research for one of the firm’s cases. This person will contribute to the overall outline of the case. Then, the Partners would hand the Consultant a small project/case to work on by themselves.


Essential Functions

  • Design and construct dynamic financial models to calculate damages resulting from intellectual property infringement or valuation related claims.
  • Assist with the drafting of written reports and preparation for depositions and trials.
  • Perform industry research including analysis of market share, industry trends and forecasts.
  • Will work with small teams of staff.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a high GPA from a top-tier College or University
  • Targeting 2 to 5 years of experience, including recent hands-on experience within financial modeling for a large Corporation, a consulting firm, or within a valuation or litigation practice
  • Strong ability to write and analyze financials
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding modeling and Excel skills
