Senior Account ManagerAs the Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Account Director with the client relationship and day-to-day management of workflows which includes ownership of all aspects of work, ensuring quality output and growth for our agency and client relationship. You will partner with all functions of our client business and are responsible for becoming a trusted resource, providing support needed, identifying new opportunities, solving challenges, and optimizing processes along the way. The growth of the business partnership is in client satisfaction, relationship development, successful achievement of KPI's, and cultural impact and growth of both direct and indirect teams. You celebrate a perfectionist lens for business, brand stewardship, design, and production all backed by strategic acumen. You understand the role design thinking plays in consumer conversion and the impact of great creative, production, and retail assets. This position reports into the Account Director and be hybrid/on-site with our client in Boston, MA.Competencies:Operate as a main point of contact for matters specific to the clientBuild and maintain trusted relationship with customers and key stakeholdersContinuously optimize workflows and processes and uphold energetic environmentEnsure timely and successful delivery of projects and greater solutions according to customer needs and objectivesOversee all marketing, production, and design including Retail, POS, Digital, Video, Social, Outdoor, and internal needs when neededCoordinate and contribute to strategic portion of projects including brainstorming sessions and preparation of presentation decksCommunicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to managementIdentify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with management to ensure growth attainmentAssist with high level requests or issue escalations as neededClient Service/Communication:Build client relationships and support internal team both on and off-siteDemonstrate a strategic vs executional approach to project management ensuring client's business objectives are metLead project kick-offs, brainstorming sessions, and client meetings, ensuring smooth project workflow in conjunction with internal team members and clientWrite briefs in conjunction with the client and/or creative team, align on design objectives and design intent. Ensure the designs presented align with the approved briefsProvide strategic direction/rationale and quality check on all design work to ensure high standards are met, error-freeLiaise with client and team to resolve client issues and project related concernsBudget & Financial Management:Provide estimates based on client brief, adjust estimate based on project scope change and ensure invoicing is done in a timely mannerOversee project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting of expenses.Manage scope changes, ensuring proper approvals and communication with clients.Support the Account Director in preparing forecasts, account profitability reports and financial summaries.Knowledge Base:Demonstrate understanding of client's brands and how each projects' objectives fit into the overall brand strategyDemonstrate understanding of agency design and brand building toolsDemonstrate ability to manage and resource through work done by off-site teamsCompany Fit:Has positive attitude and works well as part of a team (in harmony with clients and all on-site and off-site studio members)Embraces company culture with respect to people, clients and project managementParticipates in and supports agency business objectives appropriate to role (quality objectives, business goals, company policies)Shows commitment to meeting high standards of creativity, quality, client service and deadline requirementsAdapts well to change, is proactive, agile, and highly engagedQualifications:Required: Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field.Minimum 5 years experience as an Account Manager in a design / creative environmentClient on-site experience highly preferredAgency experience highly preferredDemonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-levelExperience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needsExperience in tracking and reporting project and/or account-level revenue (internal) and budget (external)Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detailExcellent listening, negotiation and presentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsProficient using PC platform and Mac OS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or Keynote)Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 USD annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
