About the Firm

Our client is a highly respected electrical contractor with a successful track record of over 60 years, known for an unwavering dedication to its clients, suppliers, and employees. Its reputation has been built by consistently providing stellar work combined with the ability to stay in tune with changes in technology and style.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed take off of electrical systems
  • Review of all drawings and specifications
  • Send out and review vender pricing
  • Pricing and laboring of materials
  • Write and review RFI’s
  • Work with Chief Estimator to review projects
  • Conduct scope review meetings with Construction Managers
  • Assist project management team with change orders


Qualifications

  • Vast knowledge of commercial, industrial, and hospital construction
  • Ability to manage the estimate process from detailed take-off, material pricing, and laboring
  • Electrical Engineering degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


Experience

  • 10-15 years of electrical estimating
  • Knowledge of electrical codes
  • Comfortable using Accubid or other estimating software
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office programs


Compensation

  • Base: $140-160k | + profit sharing
  • Actual compensation commensurate with experience
