Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Coordinator to provide leadership and coordination of patient care services on our nursing unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience in staff allocation and resource management.

About the Role:

The Nurse Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the allocation of staff and resources to meet departmental needs, facilitating the achievement of unit, department, and facility goals, and promoting the development and improvement of processes to provide quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care on a routine basis
  • Coordinate the allocation of staff and resources
  • Facilitate the achievement of unit, department, and facility goals
  • Develop and improve processes to provide quality healthcare services

Requirements:

Education/Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Experience

  • Five years clinical experience in applicable nursing area preferred
  • Charge nurse experience preferred

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

  • Current Texas RN License
  • CPR (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer date
