Regional Sales ManagerThe Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the development and execution of sales strategies and plans for Shamrock Emerging Accounts (defined as commercial contract business qualifying as an Emerging Account). This includes development of new customers and management of existing customers.Essential Duties:Delivers significant volume growth and maintains profitabilityEnsures execution of annual sales plansIdentifies and prioritizes key sales opportunities at key customer accounts, aligns with the strategic marketing plan, and meets overall divisional goalsDevelops, directs, and manages strategic selling plan for the Shamrock Foods brandsWorks with Branch Sales Manager to establish sales forecasts and manages to those objectivesMaintains regular contacts with key customers for the purpose of significantly improving Shamrock's relationship and ensuring that programs are executed in a timely, high quality and value-added wayDevelops sales presentations in conjunction Branch leadershipDevelops annual sales and expense budgets for region and manages the approved budgetsProvides periodic reporting and analysis as neededDevelops annual trade plans for new and existing key accounts to drive objectivesProvides leadership and management of all customer proposals for assigned regionLeading Business Development Managers to proactively identify, qualify, and acquire new business opportunitiesOther duties as assigned.Qualifications:HS Diploma and/or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree a plus.5 plus years' experience in sales.Foodservice experience a plus.2 plus years' experience in a sales leadership role a plusCurrent driver licenseStrong financial acumenDemonstrated expertise in problem solvingComfort using technology; reading reports and analyzing customer dataDemonstrated knowledgeable on current industry trends through the analysis and interpretation of general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations.Excellent communication skills:Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.Expertise in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.Salary of $135,000 to $145,000 depending on competency, experience, qualifications and skills plus annual bonus potential.Corporate Summary:At Shamrock Foods Company, people come first our associates, our customers, and the families we serve across the nation.
