Accounts Payable Director ConsultantOur client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager on an interim basis to oversee a dynamic team and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the accounts payable process. This long-term contract role offers the opportunity to manage a team while optimizing financial workflows and ensuring compliance with company standards. The position offers a collaborative environment with remote flexibility.Responsibilities:Manage a team of eight accounts payable professionals, including two managers, to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.Oversee the processing of invoices, coding, and payment activities using NetSuite and Coupa systems.Conduct regular check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions to ensure timely payments.Assist with the preparation and filing of 1099 forms to maintain compliance with reporting requirements.Monitor and improve accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Collaborate with other departments on financial matters and resolve any discrepancies.Provide leadership and direction to the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Ensure all accounts payable activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards.Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision-making.Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and financial reviews.Requirements:Proven experience in accounts payable management, including leadership of a team.Proficiency in NetSuite and Coupa software is required.Strong knowledge of invoice coding, check runs, and Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes.Familiarity with preparing and filing 1099 forms.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to analyze financial data and identify actionable insights.Knowledge of compliance requirements and best practices in accounts payable.Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team in a remote work environment.
