What will your role be?

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer with experience in planning and a background in systems and/or avionics software (SW). This role involves overseeing and managing projects from conception through to completion, ensuring all objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and exceptional organizational skills to drive project success.


Activities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline key milestones, deliverables, and timelines. Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and efficient project completion
  • Provide technical guidance and support in the areas of systems and avionics SW. Ensure that all engineering activities align with project requirements and industry standards
  • Act as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure project alignment and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed to address any issues that arise
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough testing and validation of systems and avionics SW to guarantee performance and reliability
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and final project deliverables
  • Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on project status and outcomes
  • Seek opportunities to improve project processes and methodologies. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness


What skills and qualifications are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
  • Proven experience in project planning and management, particularly in systems and/or avionics SW
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex engineering projects from inception to completion
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and avionics software development
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages and software tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capable of identifying and resolving technical and project-related issues
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
