At Fisher Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled Highway Project Engineer to join our dynamic Transportation Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the design, construction, maintenance, and management of highways, roads, and transportation infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop preliminary and final design plans for new highway projects or improvements to existing infrastructure.
- Provide technical expertise for specialized design tasks.
- Perform and oversee the day-to-day technical design tasks associated with a project.
- Ensure designs adhere to safety standards, local regulations, and best practices.
- Provide direction and oversight to internal design staff.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, subconsultants, and regulatory approving agencies.
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred).
- 10-15 years minimum of transportation experience, highway engineering experience preferred.
- Professional Engineering License required.
- Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads software preferred.
- A competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 annually.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including immediate enrollment in our 401k plan with an annual company contribution.
- Company-paid life insurance & long-term disability insurance.
- Generous PTO and a flexible hybrid work schedule.
