WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


We’re seeking Lead Process Engineerto join our Main Digital team and serve as an embedded Lean Six Sigma expert on our client’s team in the financial services industry. We’re seeking someone who can execute complex projects by applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to implement successful solutions.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:


As a Lead Process Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing solutions to support business needs and standards. You will develop consultative partnerships with internal teams and management to understand strategic objectives, KPIs and reporting requirements. You’ll act as an advisor to management and key stakeholders on multiple projects with enterprise-wide impacts.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 8+ years of total relevant work experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification or equivalent experience executing projects
  • Working knowledge of Agile Project Management and Change Management
  • Proven ability to apply Lean and Six Sigma principles in business scenarios for financial services, including statistical analysis
  • Experience executing complex projects supporting business units operating in the U.S, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions
  • Outstanding interpersonal and partnering skills; ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships at all levels through collaboration, negotiation and influence; effective application of coaching and feedback skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write and deliver concise, creative, and effective instructional materials and presentations
  • Strong organizational and project management skills including the ability to maximize resource utilization; distributing responsibilities, and achieving milestones and deliverables within deadlines
  • Demonstrated leadership and management; ability to motivate, drive performance, and lead cross-functional teams through change
  • Outcome-driven with focus on measurable results
  • Agile certification or experience desired


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Define, develop, and implement fit-for-purpose solutions that simultaneously address local needs and support a global standard.
  • Determine where measurement gaps exist and implement plans to fill those gaps, identifying owners.
  • Review operational data/metrics, analyze and synthesize the data, then compile it into reports or presentations.
  • Responsible for analyzing and defining business process-related issues, opportunities, and enhancements and implementing solutions.
  • Effectively communicate the underlying meaning of the analysis, which ultimately translates to actionable intelligence.
  • Ensure the implementation of improvements meets or exceeds the established key performance indicators.
  • Direct and assist teams to elicit, challenge, and prioritize root-cause issues, translate into solutions, and establish controls to ensure continued measurement of business value and identification of further improvement opportunities.
  • Manage the project scope, objectives, constraints, assumptions, and progress toward completion for a large, strategic program leveraging Agile framework.
  • Exercise sound judgment balancing project risks and making prompt decisions to mitigate the risk in ambiguous or difficult situations.
  • Serve as a resource to build continuous improvement capabilities across the business by coaching/mentoring/training more junior staff, associates pursuing certification, and as part of assigned projects.
  • Gather and analyze information to develop recommendations and implement process related solutions to address strategic business objectives often spanning multiple, global business unit and technology areas.
  • Participate in industry forums and keep current on domain knowledge for your specific business and application areas of expertise.
  • Collaborate with and support leaders and their teams to ensure process improvements are adopted, measured, and monitored in support of business operating results.
  • Help identify and equip process owners to ensure process improvements are sustained over time.
  • Monitor market changes and stakeholder needs and recommends adjustments to optimize costs, benefits, and speed of delivery.
