JOB DUTIES

* Support electronic hardware control systems design activities

* Develop and refine electronic hardware requirements specifications

* Review requirements for correctness, completeness, traceability, and compliance

* Support system and sub-system verification and validation activities

* Support reliability and safety assessments such as FMEA and FMECA


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering or related discipline

* 3-5 years of experience in related field

* Experience with structured requirements documentation systems such as DOORs or Jama

* Experience creating sensor subsystem documentation, such as requirements flow-down, test

plans, drawings, and validation reports is desired

* Experience in aerospace, maritime, or other safety critical industries

* DoD Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance

* Due to the nature of the work U.S. Citizenship is required


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

* Experience with aerospace control systems integration

* Experience with developing hardware/software interface requirements

* Experience with detailed hardware and software electronic system design

* Familiarity with Jira and Confluence

* Experience with workflow management within Siemens Teamcenter

* Experience with Matlab/Simulink and Cameo Systems Modeler

* Familiarity with DO-254, DO-160, DO-178, ARP4754 and/or other design assurance guidelines


We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $90,000 to $115,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
