General Summary: As a Senior Mulesoft System Integration Engineer, you will spearhead the design and implementation of sophisticated data integration solutions. Your role is pivotal in leading the strategic vision for data integration, incorporating advanced technologies like digital twin, Azure, MQTT, data streaming, and Snowflake to drive innovation and elevate the organization’s data capabilities.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement end-to-end integration solutions using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers in implementing APIs and leveraging MuleSoft’s API-led connectivity approach.
  • Develop RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Design scalable and resilient integration solutions with robust error handling and logging mechanisms.
  • Define and implement security measures, including authentication and authorization.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
  • Ensure performance tuning and optimization of MuleSoft applications.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and enterprise architects.
  • Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests.
  • Implement MQTT-based communication protocols for real-time data exchange.
  • Provide and review technical documentation, including design specifications and deployment guides.
  • Implement monitoring systems for MuleSoft applications and provide support and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain synchronized representation and incorporate change management principles.
  • Adhere to MuleSoft security best practices.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of extensive experience in advanced MuleSoft development and integration projects.
  • 1-2 years of proven expertise in integrating digital twin, Azure, MQTT, IoT, AI, and Snowflake technologies.
  • 3-5 years of strong understanding of API design, RESTful web services, and advanced integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for complex integration scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 5+ years of experience with Mule 4.3+, Anypoint Studio, Advanced API Development, and DataWeave.
  • 5+ years of experience with Design Center, Exchange, API Manager, and production support for on-prem and cloud applications.
  • Strong expertise in Mule connectors and developing custom connectors.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, and/or other advanced programming languages.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns, Anypoint Platform, Git, Maven, Jenkins, MUnit, and DataWeave.
  • Experience with Kafka for data streaming and real-time data processing.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Azure services related to integration.
  • Experience with MuleSoft RPA and AI.
  • Knowledge of “Gen AI” technologies and methodologies.
  • Adherence to C4E best practices.


Special Requirements:

  • Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge within thirty (30) days from the date of employment.
  • Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection (CBP) security access clearance within thirty (30) days from the date of employment.
  • Must take Cyber awareness training within thirty (30) days from the date of employment.
  • Must be fingerprinted and pass a national fingerprint-based background check within thirty (30) days from the date of employment.

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 2
  • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect - Level 1
