Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and skilled Architect to oversee all aspects of architectural work, including planning, designing, and supervising the development process. Your role will encompass new building designs, modifications, renovations, and conservation efforts from initial concepts to final execution. The objective is to align with client requirements while delivering sustainable, functional, and visually appealing designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Possess hands-on expertise in Service Oriented Architecture and APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.) along with contemporary integration methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to evaluate, design, and implement requirements and strategies.
  • Establish and uphold API/Integration standards while providing guidance to cross-functional teams as necessary.
  • Transform complex functional specifications into detailed Technical specifications.
  • Analyze, define, and document system requirements, considering interfaces and interdependencies with other systems, while performing coding and/or configuration to fulfill documented needs using various techniques.
  • Ensure the technical integrity, quality, and architectural soundness of the solution.
  • Be accountable for delivering the solution as per the defined requirements and architecture.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies and development tools as needed.
  • Work with Domain Architects to assess available resources (frameworks, reference architectures, etc.) to bridge the gap between current and future architecture.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in Information Technology, focusing on designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level application solutions.
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in Integration/Middleware, specifically in developing and supporting APIs and/or integrations using tools like TIBCO, MuleSoft, IBM MQ, and Data Stage.
  • A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in solutions architecture, particularly in designing various integration standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership, relationship-building, negotiation, collaboration, advocacy, governance, and consensus-building skills.
  • Strong knowledge of IT application architecture and design methodologies across diverse platforms.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution, at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to convey technical concepts and designs to various audiences, including executives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of multiple Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Waterfall, SCRUM, and Agile.
  • A proven team player with the ability to work effectively within a large, matrixed organization.
  • Capable of communicating trade-offs and transactional states to both technical and business teams.
  • Adept at making architectural adjustments in a dynamic Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the retail and eCommerce sectors.
  • Possession of Solution Architecture Professional Certification (e.g., IASA CITA-F, CITA-A or higher).
  • Experience implementing Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) using Kafka, ActiveMQ.
