We're looking for a passionate, hands-on leader to partner with the owners in the operation and growth of our Charlotte car wash. This full-time Store Manager will have a minimum of five years of customer service management experience and will work hard to execute our mission to offer customers a great value, high quality experience, with friendly customer service.

The Store Manager will report to our Director of Operations and help oversee daily operations including staffing, equipment maintenance, customer satisfaction, basic financial reporting, marketing, and growth initiatives. We are excited to find somebody eager to grow a local, small business and are happy to invest in his or her development. The Store Manager oversees the entire operation at the location to include both the retail car wash side and appointment based detail business. Responsibilities of this position include payroll, accounting, operations, and effective management. Perhaps the largest responsibility of the Store Manager is to create a positive work environment for his/her employees and management team.

Over time, we hope to promote the GM and increase his or her managerial scope to include other locations / operations across Charlotte and the greater Carolinas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the wash remains the most popular full-service car wash in the Charlotte area through rigorous quality control and a customer-first culture
  • Be a player-coach, working as cashier when needed and on customer vehicles including prep, hand washes, and details
  • Retain (and invest in) exceptional existing team members. Hire new employees as needed
  • Driving site revenue by growing memberships and traffic volume
  • Daily upkeep and maintenance of the building and car wash equipment, insuring a clean, safe, and friendly environment for both employees & customers
  • Forming business to business relationships
  • Help facilitate regular equipment inspections (and repairs, as needed)
  • Help manage all other daily operations (e.g., chemical ordering and competitive bidding)
  • Open and close the wash and complete required oversight

Compensation will include salary, commissions and bonuses.
