Job Purpose

The sales representative role is pivotal in providing an excellent customer experience. You will collaborate closely with other team members and operations to offer moving support for new and existing customers. Your support to our sales team, operations, and managers by giving and processing estimates for existing and unestablished customers in the moving industry is highly valued. This position is not a cold-calling role but involves following up with new inquiries from our partners and platforms like Yelp, Google, and others.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicating with potential customers to ensure a timely response and that our customers are highly satisfied with our services
  • Provide support, estimates, and service to existing and new customers
  • Entry and management of work orders and quote requests to ensure accurate and timely customer service
  • Managing moving estimates in the sales pipeline to be completed as efficiently and profitably as possible
  • Professionally work with operations and other teams to schedule bookings and business
  • Resolving any issues for our customers, partners, and operations
  • Your opinion matters at Moving with Grace. Sharing ideas about new services, efficiency, and changes for the better with the rest of the Moving with Grace team
  • Prepare, produce, and distribute written communications such as letters, memoranda, emails, faxes, forms, etc
  • Provide administrative support to sales staff
  • Manage incoming calls, take messages, promote effective interoffice communication, and support managers through various organizational and communication tasks
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments with customers, vendors, and internal personnel
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 2- or 4-year relevant sales and work experience
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Prefer experience with Smart Movers and CRM applications
  • Ability to develop long-term relationships with customers
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must be able to multitask and balance workload
  • Positive attitude and collaborator
  • Clean driving record and ability to be at the office timely every day


Compensation

  • $1,000.00 per week
  • Bonus opportunities
  • Commission pay at target $55k to $70k
  • Opportunity for growth. Manager-level positions, field estimators, and general managers
  • Paid training and support to set you up for success
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Employees are eligible for PTO after a 90-day probationary period
  • Sick Leave: 40 hours per year
