Application Support Analyst

As an application support analyst; you are responsible for assisting users, maintaining system workflows, troubleshooting workflow and system issues, and ensuring proper access to the online systems. They also assist in designing and testing system enhancements, modifying workflows to improve production, and expanding systems to serve new purposes. Analyzes all assigned business unit functions to determine application, integration and optimal use of information systems. Ability to work under general direction with minimal guidance.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Provides day to day support, including but not limited to: Application training, trouble shooting and assistance for all systems.
  • Responsible for ensuring users have the correct access to the systems they support.
  • Responsible for providing analytical support for existing in house and vendor supplied support systems.
  • Coordinates efforts with other IS staff to support IS initiatives.
  • Establishes and maintains effective, consistent reporting to IS and Executive management as needed.
  • Provides recommendations for IS initiatives that support the user community.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with system development methodology; with the ability to tie these into the use of department standards and policies and procedures.
  • Will be required to communicate technical issues throughout all levels within the organization and within the department
  • Will be required to be knowledgeable on HIPAA privacy and security regulations and able to assist in implementation and enforcement of these regulations and be able to incorporate them into the development of new and existing projects.
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Performs other duties as necessary

Experience Required


At least 7 years of phone and application support experience

Managing large user base 2000 to 5000 users

Ability to write SQL Queries

Healthcare experience

Excellent communication skills

Ability to solve problems/customer service experience.

Okta experience.
