Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technologist (RDCS) to join our dynamic cardiology team. As the Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients while supporting the healthcare team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, assisting with patient care, conduct echocardiograms (echoes) to assess heart structure and function, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor, be adept at utilizing technology, and have previous experience with Athena software preferred. You will be working under the supervision of Dr.Raghav Sharma, he holds 8 board certifications, and is fond of teaching and educating medical trainees and APP’s.


Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (RDCS) - Cardiology

Location: 1035 N Orlando Ave, Suite 205. Winter Park, Florida. 32789

Position Type: Part-Time/Full-Time


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) to visualize heart chambers, valves, and blood flow.
  • Perform stress echocardiograms (stress echoes) to evaluate cardiac function under stress conditions.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocking medical supplies and equipment.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program with a focus on cardiac sonography.
  • Certification: Current RDCS certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in performing cardiac ultrasounds, particularly in a cardiology setting, is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for capturing high-quality images and recognizing subtle abnormalities in cardiac structures and function.
