As a Patient Care Extender in the PACU, you’ll help patients by cleaning and dressing wounds, starting splints, performing blood draws, among other things. You’ll get to work with amazing doctors and nurses who will help you learn and advance your career. Schedule:
- Part-time | 48-64 hours every two weeks
- Various rotating schedules 6:30am-3pm, 8am-4:30pm, 10am-6:30pm, and 3-9:30pm.
- Working every 6th Saturday/Sunday and on call for holidays twice a year.
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay starting at $17.57 and above based on experience.
- Full-benefits package.
- Shift differentials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- EMT-Basic or Nursing Assistant preferred
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required, can be obtained once hired.
