Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate patient conditions throughout their care journey
Formulate a personalized perianesthesia care plan by implementing:
Deliver comprehensive hand-off reports to colleagues that are precise, succinct, and relevant to the patient's status and response to treatment.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an Accredited Nursing Program.
Preferred: One year of experience in PACU.
Current state licensure to practice in good standing.
Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 90 days of employment or proof of current certification.
Completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or proof of current certification.
Completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is mandatory when pediatric care is included in the facility's scope of services within 90 days of employment or proof of current certification.
