JOB SUMMARY FOR SR TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST:


  • We are seeking a Sr. Business Technical Analyst to join our leading client's team.The Senior Business Technical Analyst is responsible for engaging end users and stakeholders in gathering & defining business requirements, data validation and analysis, identifying, documenting and testing system and process changes, and conducting data gap analysis. This role interacts with many levels of the organization, including both technical and non-technical users. The position requires strong problem-solving, troubleshooting abilities, technical knowledge, business process, time management and data analysis skills.
  • Hybrid- in office Tue, Wed, Thur
  • Pay Range: $100- $110/hour



RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SR TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST:


  • Define and document business requirements which can then be turned into technical instructions to be handed off to a technical resource.
  • Engage end users and stakeholders in gathering & defining business requirements.
  • Conduct data validation and analysis.
  • Identify, document, and test system and process changes.
  • Conduct data gap analysis.
  • Interact with many levels of the organization, including both technical and non-technical users.
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems, and develop strategies for improving, or further leveraging, those systems.
  • Document technical solutions in a manner based off of review of code, procedures and interfacing with other SMEs.
  • Present complex data in an understandable format in a way that is suitable across diverse groups with varying technical abilities.



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR SR TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST:


  • bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis, with a strong focus on data integration and data management.
  • SQL – Oracle or SQL Server
  • Document DB / No SQL
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Business intelligence reporting tools such as PowerBI
  • Basic networking and firewall rules knowledge
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical solutions
  • Skilled working with databases both relational and document DB.
  • Experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale software development projects.
  • Scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell Visual Basic and their use to manage computer equipment in large, networked environments.
  • The ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for documented solutions during all phases of SDLC.
  • Visualizes data in a clear, structured way utilizing preferred BI tools (PowerBI or similar).
  • Experience in documenting complex business and functional requirements for software development.
  • Experience in isolating, replicating, reporting, and verifying defects and detect fixes.
  • Active participation in product design reviews, to ensure compatibility and interoperability of a variety of systems.
