Job Summary: The System Administrator II maintains, upgrades, and manages our software, hardware, and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. The goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform duties and provide 1st level support for internal and external customers.

• Conduct scheduled system checks and perform maintenance in accordance with the scheduled support windows.

• Ensure integrity and security of the data systems, as well as recommend optimization solutions.

• Schedule Backups and ensure Disaster Recovery procedures are effective and tested.

• Build and deploy new PCs and Laptops

• Document IT-related processes and procedures.

• Take initiative to become further educated in relevant systems administration, information technology, and emerging trends.

• After hour response to position related emergencies.


Education: Degree in Computer Technology or related IT field and/or commensurate experience.


Required Skills & Experience based on general qualifications, but not limited to:

• Knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V virtual environment.

• Experience with Windows Server 2012-2022, physical and Virtual Machines.

• Deploys, administers, and keeps an eye on Azure solutions as well as the storage, identity, governance, virtual networks, and computing in a cloud environment.

• Intermediate Networking skills, with experience in LAN, WAN, WLAN, Site-to-Site VPN, VLAN segmentation ACLs, Next Generation Firewalls, IDS, IPS, Packet Filtering, Deep Packet Inspection, Application Control, Bandwidth Management, and CAT5/5E/6 cabling.

• Active Directory, including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Printer Services and VPN.

• Manage and maintain SAN Dell EMC, HP Nimble and NAS storages.

• Investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves server and workstation hardware and software problems.

• Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 (any updates as needed).

• Syslog, Event Log, analysis of user event.

• Microsoft Office 365.


Desired Skills:

• Manage Call Center cloud based, RingCentral phone system with InContact call queue and On-prim Cisco Call Manager and Call Center.

• Managing and configuring Firewalls. Cisco Firepower and/or Palo Alto.

• PowerShell and scripting.

• SolarWinds Orion and SEM for monitoring.

• CCNA certificate.

• PCI compliancy with some knowledge of Documentations and Scans.

• SendGrid SMTP
