Position Overview: The Marketing Director at Madison Taylor Marketing is a senior leadership role that focuses on the development and execution of strategic marketing plans for diverse client organizations. This hands-on position requires expertise in B2C and B2B marketing strategies, including traditional, digital, organic, and paid tactics. The Marketing Director will actively collaborate with the team and contribute to producing high-quality marketing deliverables. Additionally, this role ensures client goals are met, reviews and presents strategies, and provides detailed performance reports. The Director will serve as the primary face of the agency to key client accounts, fostering strong relationships and maintaining client satisfaction.


Position Objectives:

  • Drive marketing and advertising deliverables internally and with external partners.
  • Lead market research efforts to support product and service development.
  • Manage and communicate marketing initiative statuses clearly and frequently.
  • Develop detailed project plans, estimates, and schedules.
  • Ensure the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and hands-on execution of comprehensive marketing strategies encompassing all stages of the buyer’s journey, ensuring alignment with client goals and correlating KPIs.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively collaborate with and provide strategic direction to the marketing team to ensure the production of high-quality web, print, and digital marketing deliverables.
  • Campaign Management: Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including hands-on design of test/control segmentation, implementation of testing, tracking, reporting, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Creative Direction: Develop creative briefs and guide the creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
  • Market Research: Lead market research efforts to assess the viability of current and new products/services, providing actionable insights to shape marketing strategies.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary face of the agency to key client accounts, fostering strong relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and presenting strategies, final deliverables, and detailed performance reports.
  • Performance Reporting: Create and analyze comprehensive analytics reports across multiple platforms, providing high-level insights and recommendations for future campaigns and ensuring thorough and professional presentation of performance reports.
  • Optimization: Ensure the continuous improvement of advertising campaigns through goal tracking and KPI analysis, making strategic adjustments to optimize outcomes.
  • Media Plans and Budgeting: Develop and oversee media plans and advertising budget strategies, taking a hands-on role in the creation and execution of these plans to ensure effective allocation of resources.
  • Paid Management: Plan, execute, and optimize paid marketing campaigns, such as Google Ads, ensuring budget efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of all marketing deliverables meets or exceeds client expectations and industry standards.
  • Messaging for Campaigns: Develop and maintain consistent messaging for all campaigns, ensuring alignment with client brand and marketing objectives and actively crafting and refining messaging strategies.
  • Media Negotiation: Negotiate with media partners to obtain advantageous contracts and ensure optimal placement and pricing.
  • Organizational Vision: Collaborate with agency leadership in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs.
  • Project Accountability: Ensure clear and frequent communication and accountability with stakeholders, project teams, and external vendors, directing projects to timely and effective completion.
  • Staff Development: Provide high-level guidance and feedback to marketing staff to improve overall internal capabilities and performance, providing direct management and development for direct reports, ensuring accountability and growth.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant marketing experience
  • 5+ years of professional Hubspot implementation experience
  • 5+ years of managing large accounts experience
