Overview:

Provide a full range of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services for employees, managers, and the employer organization for a large government agency.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct counseling, critical incident response services, training, and outreach to raise awareness of EAP services.
  • Refer clients to treatment services and community resources as appropriate, ensuring smooth transitions and positive experiences.
  • Maintain a caseload of counseling clients, ensuring records comply with policies.
  • Consult with supervisors on clinical case staffing and high-risk cases.
  • Establish and manage relationships with local contacts, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring proactive collaboration.
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols, processes, and policies, maintaining professionalism and security in all duties.


Requirements:

  • Active, unrestricted Independent North Dakota License (LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in EAP/mental health/substance abuse/behavioral health.
  • Ability to pass a federal security clearance for a non-sensitive/high-risk public trust position, including fingerprinting and a 7-year background investigation.
  • Preferred: Cultural competency in working with law enforcement clients.
