We are passionate about what our partners do for our customers, we work hard, were serious about what we do, and we have fun doing it.About the RoleThe Partner Strategy and Business Development team in the Global Partner Organization leads strategy, planning, and business development for the partner business at Workday. We define and execute our strategy with leaders across the business; lead strategic partner relationships; and deliver sizable, net-new revenue growth with partners. The Director, Workforce Partnerships leads a team of Account Executives and Partner Business Development leaders who are responsible for entering into partnerships with benefits and benefits technology providers in support of the Workday platform. They are responsible for shaping strategy for target partners, building a pipeline of partnerships, closing partnership deals to deliver revenue targets, and successfully launching those partnerships. Strategic partnerships are complex and bespoke partner relationships that deliver software revenue in the near term, and are market making for Workday in the medium to long term with customers. They often require new partner programs, product enhancements, and new partner and sales plays to achieve their targeted outcomes. The successful leader will:Deliver short term revenue targets, and build new lines of business with Workday Wellness Partners to deliver innovative new software and services to CustomersHave experience leading sales teams, delivering and exceeding on their revenue targetsHave experience in leading complex sales cycles with strategic partner and customer accountsPossess a proven track record of shaping strategy and executing end-to-end strategic initiatives all the way through realizing revenue resultsHave strong executive presence and excellent written and oral communication skillsBe a strong facilitator, coordinating across Sales, Product, CX, Marketing, and Partner organizations and operate with Partner obsession and high judgmentExhibit ownership and take accountability for exceeding expectations and targetsWe are a scrappy team, passionate about our work with partners, and excited by the impact we have. We are looking for a leader and Workmate who shares our values and is willing to have fun along the way.About YouBasic Qualifications:10+ years experience in a software and ERP sales3+ years people leader experience in strategic business development or partner/alliances roles2+ years of experience in sales leadership roles that include owning a revenue & growth targetPreferred Qualifications:Experience in US healthcare, financial services, or insurance marketsConsistent record of exceeding targets and customer impactAbility to frame, structure, and execute large and complex partner dealsAbility to engage with executives, facilitate business development, identify large-scale greenfield opportunities, and deliver business and revenue outcomesAbility to influence
