Job Description:

This role will be in our Shared Services and Banking Operations branch within the South Jordan office. The person will help support daily tasks as required under the Cash Management and Payments team. This role will be responsible for the following tasks:

Reviewing and addressing Agent Bank queries through SWIFTs [MT199/299]

Reviewing t+1 reports on data completeness on transactions specific to Canadian regulations.

Preparing various reports required for Cash Management purposes: Opening balances report, daily checklists, daily lockdown reports.

Assisting in clearing and updating reference tables used for various Cash disburse activities.

Any additional ad-hoc projects as they arise in the normal course of business.


Top Skills and responsibilities:

Cash Management: Manages all firm cash flows.

Payment Processes: Includes cash disbursement, transaction screening, and wire room operations.

Transaction Screening: Handles incoming and outgoing wires, ensuring compliance with OFAC and sanction screening.

Support and Funding: Ensures accounts are funded and client money is segregated.

Payment knowledge

Team work and collaborative approach

Solution orientated.


Requirements:

Payment Knowledge: Understanding of payments and SWIFT processes is beneficial.

Regulatory Reporting: Involves Canadian regulations and data completeness in SWIFT transactions.

Coordination: Requires reaching out to internal stakeholders and compliance teams.
