Front Desk Coordinator (Term - Limited)The Office of the Attorney General/Department of Law is the "People's Lawyer." This Front Desk Coordinator (Administrative Assistant II) will mainly provide front desk office support at the Wells Fargo Building, also referred to as DOL North. This person will also be responsible for managing mail received via United States Postal Service (USPS), delivery services, and e-filing. Specific responsibilities include:Front Desk Office SupportGreet visitors to the Department of LawAnswer and direct calls received on the main telephone lineCollect call tracking data, such as total number of calls, call types, and other relevant call informationProvide timely and professional response to voicemail messagesAccept deliveries and service of processes for the DepartmentDocument Receiving, Sorting and DistributionSort and distribute USPS mail and e-filings daily to appropriate sectionsOversee mail and e-filing processesAccept and route Service of Process, deliveries and packages for the DepartmentLog in service of process and other documentsMiscellaneous Office DutiesSupport operational functions by assisting with unit and administrative tasks (e.g. make photocopies and produce written documents such as reports, spreadsheets, and other related materials as requested)This recruitment may be used to fill more than one Administrative Assistant II positions in the Administration section. Salary note: Although a salary range is listed, salary will be set commensurate with the successful candidate's qualifications and in compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.Minimum Qualifications:Two years of administrative assistant or clerical support in a professional office setting as the main function of your job.
